Delighted to find a Nevisport in Kendal, saving me a trip (and parking nightmare) to Ambleside. Good range of equipment, friendly staff, and best of all an open area to test erect tents. Purchased Berghaus boots, ultra-lightweight tent, berghaus waterproof jacket and inner fleece, and was offered a discount without having to haggle!
Very helpful advice and guidance.

On a holiday in which we had planned to camp in a rental van we ended up needing a tent. We bought a marvelous 2 person “festival” tent on sale for £19.99! We had the best luck with it! 15 days in Cumbria and Scotland and it held up! Great quality and good Khama! Thank you to the very helpful staff!
Jo from Kendal Mountain Warehouse was very helpful. She was so professional, attentive and patient, offering me wide range different products and alternatives. I ended up getting a comfy down Gilet at really affordable price. Thanks again Jo and Colin for really great service. Rich.

Nice site, just been refurbished lots of fresh turf, tarmac & hardstandings. The facilities look good too. Unfortunately we couldn't stay as all the available pitches were full! Quite disappointed cos the place looks so nice. The site is situated on the North side of Kendal not far from the new rugby club and Morisons supermarket and small retail park. Despite the proximity of the town you feel like your in the middle of the countryside, It's peaceful and quiet with lovely views. Kendal is a great historic market town and well worth a visit on its own and this would be an ideal place to explore from. Add t proximity of the Lakes, the western Dales, Shap and the wildness of the fells around there are all less than 30 minutes drive away. And you'll soon see why this site is so popular.
Site was immaculate. Staff very friendly and helpful. Toilet block was fantastic. Pitches maintained to a high standard. Would definitely return and would recommend to others.
